Spring pocket
If you look at the area under the spring pocket, you can
see how thin that area would be if one was to port and
smooth that area to match the contour of the port. (this
can cause the head to crack)
Rocker arm stud boss
If you remove the rocker stud boss, you will only have a few
threads to support your rocker arm stud and springs.
This increase the chance of the head cracking and if you do
not seal the threads, you will get oil pulled into your intake
charge. (not good)
We do not remove these critical areas.
